Sensory bins are a great way to get your toddlers engaged in an activity that they can do independently. I use sensory bins to work on fine motor skills and sometimes incorporate letters or counting as well. Most of the items you need for a sensory bin can be purchased at the Dollar store or Target/Wal-Mart.
